I am in favor of installing Class IV bike lanes in the locations studied. I live on Beach Park Boulevard and cars drive too fast (we really need calming strips on this road) and they do not yield the full right lane to cyclists. Many cars speed past the cyclists while still halfway in the lane. It's incredibly dangerous, and it is scary for the person on their bike. Putting a barrier between the cars and cyclists feels warranted, especially with so many children biking to and from school. Everyone I know who rides their bike in Foster City has a concerning "near miss" type of story.
